Q: How easy are the Stealth Cords to install?
A: Stealth Cords are very easy to install. Most users will be able to install the cord in as little as 5-minutes. Since the installation does involve your automobiles electrical system, if you're not comfortable installing the Stealth Cord you should contact your local car radio installer.
Q: What length Stealth Cord should I select?
A: Each cord's description includes the recommended mounting distance from the mirror. If you're still unsure of the length of cord you should purchase, remember you can always (zip) tie back any unused cord.
Q: Do I need to have a powered rear view mirror to utilize a Stealth Cord?
A: Yes, at this time Stealth Cords can only be used in conjunction with your factory powered rear view mirror.
Q: In compatible vehicles my Make/Model is not listed, will a Stealth Cord work in my vehicle?
A: The listing of compatible vehicles represented the "known" Make/Model of compatible vehicles. Majority of powered rear view mirrors will support the Stealth Cord. To determine the ground and hot wires of vehicles not listed please see these Voltmeter instructions.

Q: Do you accept international credit cards?
A: At this time
we only accept credit cards which were issued in the United States.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: Visa, Mastercard,
American Express, Discover, and PayPal are accepted.
Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders?
A: All orders must be placed online, paid by major credit card and are subject to the terms and conditions as outlined on this site. We are more than happy to include a PO number on your shipping label. Just put it in
the comment section of your order.
Q: Do you accept bulk or wholesale
orders?
A: We welcome bulk and wholesale orders. For these types of orders we usually request a
wire transfer for payment.
Shipping:
Q: If I place my order today
when will it ship?
A: Most items on the site will ship out in less than 24 hours. While others may take a little longer. If an item says ships in 2-3 days, that just means we ordered the item from our distributor but we have not yet received it. Once the item is in, we ship it right out to you.
Q: What shipping methods do you use?
A: Currently we use the United States Postal Service as our shipping provider. With the USPS there are three options that we use:
- Ground – An average of 5 to 7 days.
- Priority Mail – An average of 3 to 5 days. All items shipped via USPS Priority Mail have delivery confirmation for your security.
- Express Mail – An average of 1 to 2 days. All items shipped via USPS Express Mail have delivery confirmation for your security.
Our shipping costs are based on location and weight. Shipping is calculated in real time. The rates come directly from USPS's servers.
Any orders placed after 12pm PST will be considered as starting from the following day (or workweek if order is placed on Friday).
Due to USPS service restrictions Stealth Cords cannot ship on Saturday, Sunday or holidays. Please allow an additional 24 to 72 hours for all weekend and holiday orders.
Q: How do I figure the cost of shipping for my order?
A: If you are a registered member, simply log in. You can log in using the form in the Log In box on the right side of most pages. Then add the item to your shopping cart. Depending on where you are you can click the, “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” button. This will take you to the Shopping Cart Page. Scroll down to the bottom of the shopping cart and the shipping will be calculated for you. Use the drop down box to see different shipping options.
If you are not a member, the method is the same as above except on the bottom of the shopping cart page, simply enter your zip code.

Q: How do I find out the status of my order?
A: To find out the status of your order log in to your account. You can log in using the form in the Log In box on the right side of most pages. Then in the, “Customer Area” box on the upper right side click on, “Order Status” this takes you to Orders Management page. Specify your search parameters, or just hit the search button to see your entire order history.
This list is the different types of statues we have:
- Complete – All work concerning the order is done. Items have shipped.
- Processed – Payment has been received, and the order is being processed.
- Not Finished* – Order has been placed but payment has not been received.
- Declined – An order was processed, however information on the credit card was incorrect.
*This can happen sometimes when Pay Pal (our payment gateway) crashes, or for whatever reason Pay Pal fails to send us payment info. If this happens, contact customerservice@stealthcords.com and we can give you info on how to complete your order.
Q: I have a different shipping address, what do I do?
A: Please e-mail us if your shipping address is different than the billing address
on your credit card. We may request that you call your credit card company
or bank to list the shipping address as a note on the account. Doing
this now will expedite the processing of your order.
Q: Does Stealth Cords send any type of order conformation emails?
A: Yes we do. If you are not receiving any emails after you order from us, check your bulk/junk folder in your email program. Add sales@stealthcords.com to ensure that you receive email from us.
Q: Would you be willing to ship outside of the United
States?
A: We do not offer shipping outside of the United States.
